To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
- Extensive experience in UK mortgage pricing, product management, portfolio management, commercial finance, or a closely related lending discipline (essential)
- Deep knowledge of mortgage products, customer segments, distribution channels, retention strategies, and mortgage profitability drivers
- Strong understanding of funds transfer pricing, swap curves, liquidity and capital costs, credit risk, expected loss, margin, and risk-adjusted return measures
- Advanced analytical and modelling capabilities with experience using pricing tools and data platforms such as SQL, SAS (essential), Python, GCP, BigQuery or Looker
- Ability to interpret market and portfolio data, assess elasticity and sensitivities, and translate complex analysis into commercial pricing decisions
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive challenge and make recommendations under pressure (essential)
- Strong knowledge of UK mortgage regulation, Consumer Duty, fair value principles, responsible lending, pricing governance and model and data controls
