YOUR ROLE
- Come join our growing Industry team as a Lead Process Engineer – Methods, Integration, Test & Deployment. As an individual contributor, the Lead Process Engineer - implements and improves strategies and solutions for the relevant industrial activities, with the help of the specialised product architect and the Process Engineering Manager - Industrialisation, to make it possible to reliably produce or service a product or system.
- Working at our Bendigo site, on Dja Dja Wurrung Land, you will be working alongside other process engineering team members delivering improvements and facilitating process maturity and performance across the teams. Your exciting new career opportunity will see you:
- Develop manufacturing, repair, service, testing and integration plans and procedures and assist with defining and maintaining applicable standards (ranges, tools).
- Prepare the manufacturing / repair / service data file documentation.
- Support the APRU operational teams in implementing first-level maintenance (TPM), alongside the maintenance teams.
- Take action as needed in real time to support the APRU in response to an Andon call.
- Define the testing and burn-in strategy for equipment and subassemblies, as well as the industrial needs in terms of testability.
- Ensure that production/support processes and tools are defined, implemented, prepared and optimised.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
Extensive knowledge of production and repair processes, particularly in Fabrication process.
Extensive knowledge of products and their manufacturing or repair processes and knowledge of industrial management control.
Basic knowledge of stock management and flow management methodologies.
Implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, conducting Experience in implementation of continuous improvement and management tools (Lean: flow management, conducting Gemba Walks, Compass Room, Plan Do Check Act (PDCA), TPM, etc).
Knowledge of industrial management control and stock management and flow management methodologies.
Knowledge of production tools, industrial IT & use of dashboards (analysis, decision support).
