Lead Power Electronics Engineer

Collaboration and Leadership

• Work with customers, sourcing, and manufacturing teams to optimize designs for manufacturability and project requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical rigor and engineering excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in power electronics, electrical engineering, or a related field is required; a PhD is preferred.
• At least 8-10 years of R&D or engineering experience focused on solar inverters, BESS, or STATCOM technologies is required.
• Deep expertise in AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC conversion, semiconductor physics, loss modeling, and control theory is required.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, PSCAD, ETAP, and Altium or OrCAD is required.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects and mentoring personnel in a global, matrixed organization is required.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience with high-frequency PCB design, EMI/EMC optimization, and stray inductance and capacitance management is desirable.
• Knowledge of grid-connected inverter behavior, reactive power compensation, and renewable power quality requirements is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company in technical forums, standards committees, and customer design reviews are desirable.
