Responsibilities
- Review project scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting requirements for execution of the project
- Develop, monitor, and control integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, and commissioning activities
- Utilize advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for scheduling
- Apply Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Critical Path Method (CPM), resource loading, and schedule optimization
- Implement project controls, progress measurement systems, earned value management, cash flow forecasting, and S curve analysis
- Ensure compliance with offshore construction methodologies, marine operations, heavy lifting, hook up, commissioning, and shutdown planning
- Manage SIMOPS, HSE requirements, permit to work systems, and risk management
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in planning engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
- Strong knowledge of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Critical Path Method (CPM), resource loading, and schedule optimization
- Experience in project controls, progress measurement systems, earned value management, cash flow forecasting, and S curve analysis
- Ability to develop, monitor, and control integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, fabrication, offshore installation, and commissioning
- Knowledge of offshore construction methodologies, marine operations, heavy lifting, hook up, commissioning, and shutdown planning
- Familiarity with offshore platform operations, SIMOPS, HSE requirements, permit to work systems, and risk management
- Experience in offshore fabrication yards, installation campaigns, and project execution environments
- Understanding of QatarEnergy project requirements is an advantage
