Lead Network Engineer (L3) role within a Center of Excellence team.
The role designs advanced network solutions and supports high-availability environments.
The engineer troubleshoots complex issues during implementation and ongoing support.
Location and Employment
- The role is located in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai.
- The position is full-time.
Responsibilities
- Lead LAN, WAN, wireless, and data center network design, implementation, and optimization.
- Perform deep-packet analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
- Manage high-end network equipment, UTM appliances, and firewalls.
- Automate network tasks with Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Monitor network trends and recommend hardware refreshes and bandwidth scaling.
- Work with software-defined networking devices.
- Serve as the final escalation point for complex outages and performance issues.
- Train junior engineers and maintain implementation documentation.
