The Lead Technical Engineer performs design management of various types of projects residential commercial, warehouse/industrial buildings. Reviews the Mechanical design of projects. Initiates value engineering exercises and identifies potential issues/constraints in design and construction during the early stages of design. Checks appropriateness of Mechanical systems and correctness of design criteria proposed by consultants. Provides direction to consultants to ensure complete submission of Mechanical deliverables within project schedule. Performs the task of managing the documentation of the Mechanical drawings in coordination with electrical, ELV, architectural and structural Works.

Job Summary
The Lead Technical Engineer performs design management of various types of projects residential commercial, warehouse/industrial buildings. Reviews the Mechanical design of projects. Provides direction to consultants to ensure complete submission of Mechanical deliverables within project schedule. Performs the task of managing the documentation of the Mechanical drawings in coordination with electrical, ELV, architectural and structural Works.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Lead the design and review of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, irrigation, STPs, elevators, escalators, and piping systems.
- Ensure all designs meet local regulations, codes, and project requirements.
- Prepare, review, and approve mechanical schematics, specifications, reports, and As-Built drawings.
- Work with other engineering teams to integrate mechanical systems into project designs.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers, resolving complex technical issues.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure requirements are met.
