Role Overview
Direct all mechanical aspects of assigned commissioning projects from initial engagement through client handover.
Execute project schedules by coordinating contractors and vendors to complete mechanical system testing safely.
Serve as the on-site technical lead for client commissioning activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical commissioning and testing activities according to the agreed scope of work.
- Advise clients on solution feasibility, practicality, cost, resource impact, methods, and work procedures.
- Coordinate information from equipment vendors, clients, contractors, and site owners.
- Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings and align stakeholders on commissioning deliverables.
- Review certifications and documentation required for commissioning documentation development.
- Review and approve mechanical design documents, drawings, schematics, diagrams, and installation drawings.
- Support engineering and commissioning deliverables with other team members.
- Develop and obtain approval for test scripts, Inspection Test Plans, Factory Acceptance Tests, and Factory Witness Tests.
- Supervise commissioning activities against client schedules, specifications, and performance requirements.
- Track work progress, issue status updates and technical reports, and communicate risks and opportunities.
