Lead Marketing Compliance Specialist

• Review marketing, advertising, sponsorship, branding and promotional materials from a regulatory compliance perspective.
• Advise Marketing, BD and regional teams on applicable requirements, regulatory risks and mitigation measures.
• Interpret and apply marketing, advertising and financial promotion rules across relevant jurisdictions.
• Escalate matters to Legal, local Compliance Officers or external counsel where legal interpretation is required.
• Maintain marketing compliance frameworks, review protocols, internal guidance and regulatory trackers.
• Monitor regulatory developments impacting marketing and promotional activities globally.
• Support the investigation and remediation of marketing-related compliance incidents.
• Deliver compliance training to Marketing and business teams.
• Prepare regular reporting on key risks, incidents and remediation actions.
• Support regulatory enquiries or engagements relating to marketing activities where required.
• 6+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, marketing compliance, financial promotions or a related role.
• Strong understanding of marketing, advertising and financial promotion requirements in regulated industries, with demonstrated experience reviewing campaigns, sponsorships, promotions, customer communications, affiliates activities.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business guidance.
• Multi-jurisdictional experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and project management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI and emerging technology to improve research, review and compliance workflows.
• Candidates with a legal qualification will be given preference
• Fluent in English
• Strong interest in crypto, digital assets and the evolving regulatory landscape.
• Commercially minded and able to balance regulatory requirements with business objectives.
• Comfortable challenging stakeholders and providing clear, practical advice.
• Detail-oriented while able to assess broader regulatory and reputational implications.
• Adaptable, ownership-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environment.
