Role overview
The Lead Interface Engineer provides engineering and operational support for offshore drilling, completion, and abandonment activities.
The role coordinates offshore and onshore teams and ensures well operations meet approved safety, program, budget, and company objectives.
Operational responsibilities
- Supervise offshore operations, rig activities, personnel, materials, supplies, and logistics.
- Provide engineering support for planning, preparation, and review of well operations.
- Represent the company at the rig site and act as the interface with onshore teams.
- Ensure contractors and service companies meet contractual and operational expectations.
- Ensure personnel, equipment, and materials are available offshore and monitor stock and usage.
- Track operational costs, identify improvements, and support audits.
Safety and compliance
- Maintain compliance with the Company Safety Management System and HSEQ standards.
- Participate in HAZOP and HAZID risk assessments and close actions before execution.
- Promote a strong offshore safety culture and comply with HSE critical-role and ethics requirements.
