The Role
Provide engineering support for planning, preparation, and review of drilling, completion, and abandonment operations.
Ensure well operations are safely planned and executed within authorized programs and budgets.
Supervise offshore well operations while managing manpower, rig activities, material supplies, and stock.
Responsibilities
- Supervise offshore operations for efficiency, safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Manage rig activities, offshore personnel, materials, and logistics to prevent operational delays.
- Act as the interface between offshore operations and onshore teams.
- Ensure contractor and service company performance meets contractual and operational expectations.
- Maintain compliance with the Company Safety Management System and HSEQ standards.
- Ensure timely availability of personnel, equipment, and materials offshore.
- Support internal and corporate audits where required.
- Identify and implement operational improvement opportunities.
- Track daily operational costs and monitor material usage and stock levels.
- Participate in HAZOP and HAZID risk assessments and ensure actions close before execution.
- Represent the company at the rig site for operational and technical matters.
- Promote safety culture and comply with ethics and HSE critical-role requirements.
