Role Overview
Lead OT/IT system integration for a major Giga project implementing smart city and smart building solutions.
Coordinate vendors, suppliers, system specialists, and consultants to deliver integrated digital solution packages.
What You Will Do
- Align IBMS and subsystems with building infrastructure, use cases, budgets, and desired smart building outcomes.
- Develop Interface Control Documents with BMS and subsystem vendors, including points and communication protocols.
- Coordinate shop drawings, power and network infrastructure, IoT sensors, field cameras, and system connectivity.
- Identify technical gaps between proposed building systems and the MSI platform and ensure vendors address them.
- Translate use cases and user journeys into integrated solutions across ELV, OT/IT, security, and ICT systems.
- Lead cross-functional coordination and support analytics, energy dashboards, KPI reporting, and interoperability.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics and Control Systems or a related engineering discipline.
- 15 or more years of experience with BMS, security, ELV, AV, CMMS, OT/IT, and ICT systems.
- Experience with digital solutions, system integration, RFP creation and evaluation, IoT, big data, and data platforms.
- Direct exposure to system integrators such as Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, Sauter, or Johnson Controls.
- Familiarity with industrial-standard building solution protocols.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct hierarchical dependence.
Desired Knowledge
- Knowledge of BMS and IBMS platforms, building metadata schemas, Brick Schema, and industrial protocols is desirable.
- Knowledge of BIM optimization, digital twins, facility and asset management, energy efficiency, and sustainability is desirable.
- Knowledge of HVAC, chillers, electrical and mechanical systems, air sampling, and solar systems is desirable.
- Technical knowledge of user-interface configuration and analytics platforms is desirable.
