Role Overview
Roles and Responsibilities
• Lead New Unit project execution globally, from design through customer delivery
• Provide technical ownership for instrumentation scope across GE Vernova’s product portfolio — Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Generator and Balance of Plant
• Develop, review, and approve instrumentation drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of material, and technical specifications in GTCC PLM.
• Oversee and maintain project documentation, including schematics, instrument lists, and signal lists, in AVEVA
• Develop, review, and approve wiring diagrams in EPLAN. Perform and lead analysis and design studies for instrumented fluid systems
• Drive resolution of complex technical issues related to instrumentation design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and field operation
• Collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, electrical, systems, and project engineering teams to ensure robust and integrated design solutions
• Lead design reviews and support milestone discussions across the product lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers
• Support standardization, process improvement, and lessons-learned incorporation across the instrumentation engineering function
• Interface with customers, suppliers, manufacturing, sourcing, and field/service teams as required to ensure successful technical execution
