Responsibilities
- Lead Instrumentation & Control engineering activities for offshore platforms, process facilities, pipelines, wellhead towers, and utility systems.
- Manage a team of Instrumentation, Control Systems, and Telecom Engineers/Designers.
- Review and approve instrumentation deliverables such as Instrument Index, Data Sheets, Hook Up Drawings, Loop Diagrams, etc.
- Lead engineering activities for DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas, SCADA, PLC, and ICSS systems.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511, participate in HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and safety reviews.
- Coordinate with telecom discipline for integration of PA/GA, CCTV, access control, fiber optic, marine, and radio communication systems.
- Prepare and review Material Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations, conduct vendor clarifications.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, construction, and witness FAT, SAT, and integrated system tests.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC, IEC, ISA, API, ISO, and NFPA standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum 18–20 years of experience in Instrumentation & Control Engineering within Oil & Gas
- Minimum 8–10 years in a Lead I&C Engineering role
- Extensive experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Brownfield, and Greenfield projects
- Strong offshore facility experience
- Master's Degree in Control Systems, Automation, or Instrumentation Engineering preferred
- Professional Engineering Certification advantageous

Job Overview
- KBR Abu Dhabi PMC Team is looking for a Lead Instrumentation & Control Engineer for an Offshore Island Project based in UAE (Abu Dhabi), with relocation to Spain Office and return to Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Instrumentation & Control engineering activities for offshore platforms, process facilities, pipelines, wellhead towers, and utility systems.

- Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables within budget and schedule.

- Develop Control Philosophies and Functional Design Specifications.
- Review Cause & Effect Diagrams and Logic Narratives.
- Ensure compliance with IEC 61508 and IEC 61511, participate in HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and safety reviews.
- Coordinate with telecom for PA/GA, CCTV, access control, fiber optic, marine, and radio communication systems.

Qualifications
