Role description
UST is seeking a hands-on Test Engineer with strong manual and automation testing experience.
The role contributes to test strategy, test execution, automation development, and continuous quality improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright, PyTest, and Python.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and release readiness activities.
- Maintain test scenarios, test data, test documentation, and test reports.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to process improvements.
- Enhance test frameworks and promote automation best practices.
- Support continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure quality standards are followed throughout the Software Testing Life Cycle.
Required skills and experience
- Proven experience in manual and automation testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, PyTest, Python, and API testing.
