Role description

Role: Mid-Level Java Engineer Job Description – Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer / Technical Lead to join our team and work closely with US-based clients on healthcare technology initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have strong backend development experience, cloud exposure, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Design, develop, and support scalable backend applications and APIs.
• Work directly with US clients to gather requirements, provide technical solutions, and support delivery activities.
• Develop and maintain healthcare interoperability solutions using HAPI FHIR.
• Build and manage cloud-based solutions on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architecture, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and production support activities.
• Ensure adherence to security, coding, and operational best practices. Required Skills
• Strong experience in Java development
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Experience with HAPI FHIR / FHIR-based integrations
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments
• Experience with Python
• Strong understanding of Databricks/PostgreSQL
• Good communication skills with the ability to work directly with US clients
• Ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion Good to Have
• Experience in US Healthcare domain
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and APIs
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models
• Experience supporting production applications and cloud modernization initiatives Preferred Experience
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Experience working in onsite-offshore collaboration models
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
