Role Overview
GenAI Engineering sits within Motorway's Data and AI function alongside Machine Learning and the Machine Learning Data Platform.
The team builds agentic workflows, LLM-powered tools, and other AI features for sellers and dealers.
The Lead GenAI Engineer will set technical standards for AI work and build the most difficult parts of complex product-facing systems.
This is a player-coach role combining direct technical contribution with development of senior engineers.
The role reports to the Engineering Manager for GenAI Engineering and partners with principal, director-level, and product leadership.
