Role Overview

What You Will Do

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and reusable microservices for the next-generation UI Shell Platform architecture.
• Define service architecture, integration patterns, and technical standards across multiple products.
• Develop production-grade software using Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with emphasis on back-end services, APIs, distributed systems, authentication, authorization, and platform capabilities.
• Lead complex system implementations while balancing performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and integration.
• Improve front-end and back-end integration patterns, service contracts, and resilient workflows.
• Partner with front-end engineers on end-to-end experiences and contribute to UI applications when needed.
• Build testable software with automated coverage, quality validation, and CI/CD delivery practices.
• Contribute to containerized deployment patterns and collaborate with DevOps teams on reliable delivery.
• Promote reliability, observability, troubleshooting, and healthy service operations.
• Use GenAI and AI-assisted development practices to improve productivity and support product capabilities.

What You Will Need

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• Experience with back-end development, API design, distributed systems, microservices, and scalable platform capabilities.
• Experience designing and evolving platform architectures, API ecosystems, integration patterns, and cloud-native applications.
• Strong Python and JavaScript or TypeScript programming skills.
• Working knowledge of React, HTML5, and CSS for collaboration across the application stack.
• Strong computer science and software architecture fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, system design, scalability, and architecture trade-offs.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications.
• Experience across front-end and back-end boundaries, including API contracts, authentication, authorization, data flows, and service dependencies.
• Technical leadership experience involving technical direction, architectural decisions, mentoring, and engineering best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with shared platform services, common capabilities, or developer tooling used across multiple products and engineering teams.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for containerized application delivery.
• Exposure to data security, privacy, compliance, cryptography, or enterprise security products.
• Familiarity with GenAI, LLM-powered capabilities, AI-assisted workflows, or agentic engineering tools.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, performance testing, load testing, and production support for distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of SonarQube, JFrog Xray, or similar code-quality, security-scanning, and artifact-management tools.
