Responsibilities 1) Lead end-to-end audio validation and testing activities across Automotive Infotainment, Telematics, Voice, Multimedia, Amplifier, Tuner, Bluetooth, and Connected Audio systems. 2) Define and implement robust audio test strategies, validation plans, and release criteria aligned with customer expectations and project milestones. 3) Drive system-level and vehicle-level audio verification covering playback, recording, microphone performance, acoustic tuning validation, voice quality, latency, synchronization, and user experience. Collaborate with Software, Hardware, DSP, Acoustic Engineering, Systems, and Integration teams to ensure seamless audio feature delivery. Oversee development and enhancement of audio test frameworks, automation solutions, and validation methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency. Execute and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and customer-focused validation at vehicle level, ensuring production readiness. Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution activities for audio-related issues across software, hardware, and system integration layers. Ensure compliance with automotive quality and process standards including ASPICE, ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, and customer-specific requirements. Evaluate audio performance against KPIs such as sound quality, voice intelligibility, echo cancellation, noise suppression, Bluetooth audio quality, and acoustic benchmarks. Prepare and present quality metrics, defect trends, release readiness reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders and customer teams.
Key Deliverables Technical leadership and subject matter expertise in Automotive Audio Validation, Acceptance Testing, and Release Management. System Integration Testing and End-to-End Audio Validation across infotainment and connected vehicle platforms. Vehicle-level Audio Qualification and Customer Acceptance Testing. Audio Performance Assessment including Acoustic Validation, Voice Quality, Bluetooth Audio, DSP Features, and User Experience Evaluation. Release Readiness Reviews and Go/No-Go Recommendations based on quality metrics and customer requirements. Risk Assessment and Quality Impact Analysis for customer software releases. Test Strategy, Validation Reports, Compliance Documentation, and Executive Quality Dashboards. Continuous improvement of audio test frameworks, automation capabilities, and validation processes to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
