Role overview
The Cyber Security R&D team designs, codes, delivers, and maintains cybersecurity software applications and microservices.
The team also designs secure deployment infrastructures for transmission, distribution, and industrial projects.
The Lead Engineer reports to the Cyber-Security Program Manager and supports software applications, microservices, products, and solutions.
Core responsibilities
- Design cybersecurity features such as microservices and cross-platform shareable components.
- Develop and support cybersecurity software applications and microservices.
- Participate in secure deployment of products and solutions.
- Apply SDLC, Lean, Scaled Agile, or XP practices together with DevOps, CI/CD, security, scalability, documentation, refactoring, and automated testing.
- Share technical information across teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications and requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a STEM major.
- Have five to eight years of software development experience.
- Demonstrate strong C++ development skills, including design.
- Have experience developing under Linux and designing and developing APIs.
