Lead Engineer - Embedded SW Development

Role overview

Essential responsibilities

• Define architecture and low-level design requirements from high-level system requirements, then implement the solution.
• Design, develop, code, test, and debug embedded system software.
• Improve the efficiency, stability, and scalability of system resources.
• Integrate and validate new product designs.
• Lead and perform detailed design, source code, unit test code, and requirements reviews.
• Interface with hardware design and development teams.
• Develop formal design verification and validation plans with firmware test engineers.
• Perform or oversee testing, including automated unit and regression testing.
• Assess third-party and open-source software.
• Maintain documentation for designs, code reviews, and unit test results.
• Support multiple product development lifecycle stages, from project initiation through maintenance.
• Work effectively in cross-functional and global teams.

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
