Lead Engineer

Position details

Primary responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis of aircraft components and assemblies within an integrated team.
• Conduct load, static, fatigue, damage-tolerance, and vibration analyses.
• Evaluate structural integrity using classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
• Generate load distributions and document structural load paths and responses.
• Prepare or revise strength-check notes and stress reports using Microsoft Office.
• Resolve analysis concerns, manage assigned project schedule and cost, and track engineering metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and U.S. business units while delivering high-quality work under aggressive schedules.

Basic qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• 4 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of composite materials, structural analysis, solid mechanics, and machine design.
• Understanding of structural load paths and structural response to loads.
• Experience with HyperMesh or Nastran/Patran analysis tools.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
