About the Role
Black Box is seeking a Lead for ELV Security Systems to manage projects from kick-off to handover. The role involves technical leadership, configuration of VMS/ACS/alarm systems, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.

Responsibilities
- Lead ELV Security System projects from kick off to commissioning and handover
- Act as technical authority during project execution, resolving design and site level challenges
- Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, and other ELV disciplines
- Configure VMS, ACS software, alarm systems, and network integrations
- Execute FAT/SAT, authority testing, performance validation, and ensure integration with IT infrastructure
- Support SIRA / authority inspections and train customer IT/security teams
- Serve as primary technical interface for customers, main contractors, consultants, and authorities
- Lead and mentor Engineers, Supervisors, and Technicians
Requirements
- Experience leading ELV Security System projects from kick off to commissioning and handover
- Technical authority in ELV security systems
- Knowledge of UAE regulations including Dubai Police SIRA requirements
- Experience with VMS, ACS, alarm systems, and network integrations

Job Responsibilities
- Lead ELV Security System projects from kick off to commissioning and handover.
- Act as the technical authority during project execution, resolving design and site level challenges.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, site teams and subcontractors, and other ELV disciplines (ICT, AV, BMS, Structured Cabling).
- Ensure installations align with approved drawings and specifications, OEM guidelines and international best practices.
- Configure VMS, ACS software, Alarm systems, Network integrations.
- Execute FAT / SAT, Authority testing, Performance validation, Ensure full integration with IT infrastructure, Support SIRA / authority inspections, Train customer IT/security teams.
- Serve as the primary technical interface for SME and Enterprise customers, main contractors and consultants, authorities and inspection teams.
- Support pre sales and post award activities by clarifying technical queries, providing value engineering and optimization options, supporting solution presentations and demonstrations when required.
- Build trust through clear communication, timely delivery, and technical excellence.
- Ensure all security systems comply with UAE and Emirate specific regulations, including Dubai Police SIRA requirements and local authority and Civil Defense requirements where applicable.
- Manage design submissions, inspections, testing, and final approvals.
- Lead commissioning and system integration activities.
