In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
Create and maintain PCB component libraries, including schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and related design attributes in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines.
Extract mechanical, electrical, thermal, and assembly-related information from component datasheets to develop accurate library parts and design constraints.
Validate component footprints and land patterns against manufacturer recommendations and applicable IPC standards.
Design and develop high-density multilayer PCB layouts (6-22 layers) for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics designs.
Define PCB stack-ups, component placement, routing strategies, and design constraints.
Apply EMI/EMC design practices to ensure robust product performance and regulatory compliance.
Implement clearance, creepage, and safety requirements to support UL and related certifications.
Generate manufacturing-ready PCB documentation and release packages.
Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, manufacturing, and sourcing teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Ensure designs meet DFM, DFA, and DFT requirements for efficient assembly, testability, and production.
Support prototype builds, design reviews, and resolution of fabrication and assembly issues.
Periodically review, update and develop Check lists, Process documents, PCB specs, Knowledge base and Quality documents in line with latest technology trends.

For This Role, You Will Need
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
8-12 years of hands-on PCB layout experience.
Proven experience designing high-density multilayer PCBs (6-22 layers).
Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC design principles and PCB design best practices.
Good understanding of clearance, creepage, insulation coordination, and safety requirements for UL-certified products.
Experience
with PCB fabrication, assembly processes, and DFM/DFA/DFT requirements.
Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer and Mentor Graphics Expedition/Xpedition.
Ability to work from schematics and collaborate closely with hardware design engineers.
Strong ability to interpret component datasheets and extract package, electrical, assembly, and design-rule information required for PCB implementation.
Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and component libraries.
Good understanding of IPC footprint standards and component package technologies including QFN, BGA, LGA, fine-pitch SMT, and through-hole components.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in industrial automation, instrumentation, embedded systems, or power electronics products.
Knowledge of high-speed PCB design considerations, signal integrity, and power integrity concepts.
Familiarity with IPC standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience
working directly with PCB fabrication and EMS partners.
Ability to mentor junior designers and contribute to PCB design best practices.
