Lab49 is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to build enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure for financial-services clients.
The role involves cross-functional and client-facing work across discovery, architecture, development, and production delivery.

Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, development, and deployment of DevOps workflows for cloud-native applications and enterprise infrastructure.
- Automate development and operational workflows using Terraform, GitLab or GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Fortify, and related tools.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional technologists on enterprise DevOps solutions.
- Champion cloud architecture, DevOps best practices, and emerging cloud technologies.
- Break down complex technical problems into effective solutions for clients.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to development teams.
- Prioritize work, manage dependencies, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
- Keep client stakeholders informed and supportive of the technical direction.
- Explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Define best practices for application deployment, infrastructure maintenance, and cloud service management.
- Evaluate and implement new cloud tools and technologies.
