- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max / V Ray, and joinery production software
- Deep technical knowledge of woodworking, cabinet construction detailing, material properties, finishes, and premium hardware systems

Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Designer to head our design department, taking full ownership of the design to production pipeline for kitchen and custom joinery projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Rendering Ownership: Oversee and deliver all 2D/3D kitchen and joinery technical shop drawings, layouts, and high quality renderings.
- Client & Technical Liaison: Serve as primary point of contact for design and technical inquiries, maintaining strong relationships with clients and external design consultants.
- Team Supervision & Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the internal design team to maintain high creative and technical standards.
- Scheduling & Workflow Management: Oversee production and drawing schedules to ensure design milestones align with project timelines.
- Quality Control & Monitoring: Implement strict quality control measures across all drawings and specifications before they hit the factory floor.
- Production Coordination: Partner closely with production and manufacturing teams to ensure accurate design execution and prompt project delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of dedicated design experience within the kitchen and joinery manufacturing industry, with proven experience leading or supervising a team.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max / V Ray (or equivalent premium rendering software), and joinery production software.
- Leadership Skills: Strong project management, workflow scheduling capabilities, and a proven track record of guiding and mentoring junior designers.
- Industry Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of woodworking, cabinet construction detailing, material properties, finishes, and premium hardware systems (e.g., Blum, Hettich).
