Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring
- Serves as a lead resource in the evaluation, acquisition, and implementation of clinical information systems
- Champions the redesign of clinical workflow and processes essential for the adoption of new technology
- Trains staff in use of software and updates
- Provides technical leadership in the knowledge of application database configuration
- Assist Clinical staff to resolve issues or problems
- Stay current with Clinical software upgrades, updates and any other software changes
- Collaborates with leaders on strategic direction of clinical supported applications
- Reviews and analyzes requests for current and new clinical systems or system enhancements
- Completes management approved documentation for all planned database configurations, tests, implementations, upgrades, and conversions
- Leads install of new software applications as necessary
- Reviews system and process design to discover opportunities for improvement or consideration of new technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and seven (7) years of clinical experience or designing, building and supporting clinical applications
- Experience defining clinical and operating requirements and translating them into system configurations
- Ability to test and audit personally developed system configurations
- Knowledge of systems implementation including analysis, specification design, and implementation
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Relationship, teamwork, and project management skills
- Strong conceptual, process, and data analysis skills
- PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

- In this high impact role, you will serve as a technical and strategic leader—driving system upgrades, workflow enhancements, and cross functional projects that directly support patient care delivery.
- As a trusted partner to clinical and operational leaders, you will guide application strategy, mentor analysts, and lead complex implementations and upgrades across departments.

Required Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and seven (7) years of clinical experience or designing, building and supporting clinical applications.
- An Associate Degree and nine (9) years of clinical experience or designing, building and supporting clinical applications will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor’s.
- Experience defining clinical and operating requirements, and translate requirements into clear, specific, actionable system configurations, and the ability to implement those configurations.
- Ability to test and audit personally developed system configurations, in order to assure functional accuracy.
- Knowledge of systems implementation which may include analysis, specification design, and implementation.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Relationship, teamwork, and project management skills.
- Strong conceptual, process, and data analysis skills, an in depth understanding of medical practice informatics, clinical, and operating data sets.
- PC proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
Pay Range
- $41.88 $70.36 per hour
