Role Overview
Parsons is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer, also described as a Civil and Structural Lead, for an airport infrastructure programme.
The role oversees civil and structural engineering activities and requires experience with large-scale infrastructure, particularly airport or transportation projects.
The position involves managing design teams, coordinating disciplines, and ensuring safety, quality, performance, and structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil and structural design for terminals, runways, pavements, bridges, utilities, and other airport infrastructure.
- Oversee detailed civil and structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for compliance with project requirements, codes, and industry standards.
- Direct temporary and permanent structure design and integrate it with MEP, transportation, and architectural disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to civil and structural engineers.
Requirements
- Significant experience in both civil and structural engineering.
- Significant experience delivering large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Experience in airport or transportation sector projects is expected.
- Ability to manage civil and structural design activities and coordinate multiple engineering disciplines.
- Ability to ensure designs comply with project requirements, codes, and industry standards.
