You will be responsible for adherence to the Honeywell Aerospace and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Partnering for Safety Plan (PSP) and work with members of leadership from various product groups to ensure TSO projects are compliant with regulations and the Honeywell Aerospace TSO manual. You will provide technical leadership to a group of talented professionals who provide expertise to facilitate the successful installation and certification of Honeywell Aerospace products.
As a senior member of the certification engineering team, other responsibilities include providing guidance and mentoring junior level Certification Engineers, providing guidance in work estimates and project schedules, coordinating with Aftermarket and Product Program managers, and supporting technical and certification strategy discussions with customers and internal Honeywell Aerospace stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a commitment to aviation safety, technical and professional excellence, a commitment to customer satisfaction, is a self-starter, possesses a bias for action, pays attention to detail and can follow through to completion, is comfortable in a decision-making role, demonstrates personal and professional integrity.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Aerospace or equivalent discipline
Knowledge of DO-160 environmental qual, ARP4754, ARP 4761, DO-254 hardware design assurance standard for airborne electronic hardware, DO -178 Software Considerations in Airborne Systems and Equipment Certification

Demonstrated technical leadership experience
Knowledge of aircraft wiring and associated documentation is preferred
