About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Lead/Senior CAD Detailer to join our design team in Dubai. The role involves producing fabrication-ready technical drawings for scenic builds, exhibition stands, and event structures.

Responsibilities
- Translate concept designs, sketches, and creative briefs into detailed, fabrication ready CAD drawings for scenic elements, exhibition stands, event structures, and custom joinery
- Produce complete drawing packages including floor plans, elevations, sections, joinery details, material schedules, and assembly instructions
- Ensure all drawings are accurate, buildable, compliant with venue requirements, and aligned with health and safety standards
- Manage drawing revisions, version control, and technical updates throughout the project lifecycle
- Work closely with Design, Production, Project Management, and Site teams to resolve technical challenges and support smooth project delivery
- Lead drawing quality control, maintain departmental drawing standards, and mentor junior draftsmen to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Support workload planning across multiple projects and provide technical guidance to ensure deadlines are achieved
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a CAD Draftsman/Detailer within the events, exhibitions, scenic production, or interior fit out industry
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- Strong technical knowledge of joinery, workshop fabrication, scenic construction, materials, and finishing methods
- Experience producing fabrication and workshop drawings for complex custom builds and event structures
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and maintain exceptional attention to detail
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior draftsmen and maintaining drawing standards within a team environment

What we're looking for
