Key Responsibilities
- Own detailed documentation, including user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering and Scrum teams on sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and feature delivery.
- Manage product-backlog stories and act as the customer voice in Agile ceremonies.
- Coordinate feature validation with QA and business users.
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements for engineering teams.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- The role requires 3+ years as a Product Owner or in a similar Agile/Scrum role.
- Strong Agile methodology and product lifecycle management knowledge is required.
- Excellent communication, documentation, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and prioritization skills are required.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare IT or claims processing experience is preferred.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner certification or an equivalent certification is preferred.
- A master’s or bachelor’s degree from a top-tier college with good grades is stated as preferred in the additional qualifications.
- An engineering background is preferred.
