Streaming and Development

• Experience with Kafka, messaging platforms, event streaming, real-time data processing, and high-volume workflows.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed computing.
• Proficiency in Python, Databricks, Spark, data engineering, and cloud data platforms.

AI and Leadership

• Experience driving GitHub Copilot, generative AI, and AI-powered software engineering adoption.
• Ability to establish responsible AI-first engineering practices.
• Leadership competencies include strategic technology leadership, mentoring, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Domain Experience

• Experience in one or more of Securities Lending, Prime Brokerage, Securities Finance, Repo Financing, Collateral Management, Equity Finance, Funding and Liquidity Management, or Capital Markets Trading Platforms.

• Lead architecture, engineering strategy, and modernization initiatives across the Prime Services Technology organization.
• Define and execute target-state architecture for Securities Lending and Prime Brokerage technology platforms.
• Drive modernization through cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, and AI-assisted development practices.
• Ensure platform scalability, resiliency, performance, fault tolerance, and operational excellence.
• Partner with Business, Trading, Operations, Product, and Technology stakeholders globally.
• Design real-time systems using asynchronous messaging, streaming technologies, and low-latency architectures.
• Establish technology roadmaps and lead large-scale modernization programs.
• Apply automation, observability, disaster recovery, and operational readiness practices.
• Drive adoption of GitHub Copilot, generative AI, and AI-first engineering practices.
• Mentor talent and promote engineering excellence, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
