The Lead Accountant will oversee the accounting and financial reporting function.

The role requires accurate, timely, and IFRS-compliant reporting.

The successful candidate will build and strengthen a scalable accounting framework rather than only operate an existing function.

Lead accounting and financial reporting activities, including month-end and year-end closing.
Oversee statutory and management financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Assess complex transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment.
Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures under IFRS and applicable Saudi requirements.
Prepare technical accounting and position papers.
Monitor IFRS changes and assess their organizational impact.
Lead group consolidation across multiple entities, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
Support consolidated financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules.
Coordinate with external auditors and resolve audit queries and findings.
Improve processes, controls, reporting procedures, and systems, including automation.
Provide technical accounting guidance and coaching to team members.
Partner with Finance and stakeholders on accounting implications in business decisions.

7–10 years of relevant accounting, audit, and financial reporting experience.
ACCA or CPA qualification is required.
Big 4 audit firm experience is highly preferred.
Deep IFRS knowledge and experience applying standards to complex transactions.
Hands-on group consolidation, intercompany accounting, and consolidated reporting experience.
Experience developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures.
Experience managing external auditors and resolving technical accounting matters.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capabilities.
Strong consolidation accounting and intercompany elimination skills.
Strong month-end and year-end close management skills.
Ability to analyze complex transactions and produce well-supported accounting conclusions.
Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting governance, and financial processes.
Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of ERP and accounting systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving organization.
