Your Role
Join the Projects team in Melbourne as a Lawyer or Associate advising on complex energy and infrastructure transactions.
Work with a broad range of clients and contribute to market-leading projects and transactions.
The position offers a permanent, full-time opportunity.
Role Responsibilities
- Act for energy and infrastructure clients on offtake, power purchase, connection, construction, operating and maintenance, development, and energy or green product trade documents.
- Provide subject matter expertise on acquisitions and disposals of energy assets.
- Undertake legal due diligence and contribute to transaction documents and completion processes.
- Conduct legal and regulatory analysis covering approvals, risk allocation, and interface issues.
- Contribute to business development initiatives in the energy and infrastructure sector.
About You
- Experience advising on a broad range of project development transactions at a well-regarded international or Australian firm.
- Experience in the energy and infrastructure sector is ideal.
- Ability to work independently and manage smaller matters and elements of larger matters.
- Strong team ethic and willingness to develop others through mentoring and shared experience.
