About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, the Laundry Worker works to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the department equipment, in accordance with standards, regulations, and department policies; and ensures the continuous processing of soiled and clean laundry and linen products in the department, so as to provide clean and safe products to be used by the laundry customers, in appropriate quantities; and to carry out the above functions in a professional manner, that achieves the mission, goals, and objectives of the Nova Scotia Health.
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
Grade 12/GED or equivalent work experience required
Knowledge of Infection Control procedures
Completion of WHMS training
Good knowledge of Infection Control guidelines as they pertain to an industrial laundry operation
Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours
Permanent, full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
Shifts may include days, nights, evenings, weekends, and holdiays
Compensation and Benefits
- $20.74 - $21.56 hourly Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
