Position Summary

Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards.

Coordinate room-status activities, housekeeping priorities, and communication across operational departments.

Assist housekeeping management with daily activities and employee supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies, prioritize room cleaning, and update departing-room status.
  • Coordinate housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry efforts and resolve room-status issues with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare and communicate room-assignment changes, hand over issues to the next shift, and complete paperwork.
  • Assist with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Follow company, safety, security, and quality policies and report maintenance problems, hazards, accidents, and injuries.
  • Provide professional guest service, respond to guest needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • The position is full time and located at the Ummahat Islands property in Saudi Arabia.
  • The role requires standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods across a work shift.
  • The role requires handling objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
  • The role requires pushing and pulling loaded housekeeping carts and machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • The role requires bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, and manipulating objects with fine motor coordination.

Additional Duties

Use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
