Role overview

Responsibilities

• Run laundry shifts independently when required.
• Order uniforms and communicate with commercial laundry and uniform suppliers.
• Oversee the uniform room and valet laundry pickup and return.
• Operate laundry and dry-cleaning machines to high standards.
• Identify and remove stains.
• Receive and count commercial laundry deliveries.
• Supervise washing, drying, pressing, folding, sorting, and distribution.
• Prepare purchase requisitions and order laundry supplies.
• Maintain linen, uniform, and supply inventory levels.
• Track and deliver guest laundry within service timelines.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 3–4 years of supervisory or in-charge experience in luxury hotel laundry operations is required.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards is required.
• Communication, interpersonal, computer, and reporting skills are required.
• English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
• A positive attitude, attention to detail, and passion for hospitality are expected.
