Laundry Supervisor - Housekeeping - InterContinental® Dubai Festival City

Role overview

Daily responsibilities

• Oversee linen room standards and procedures.
• Open and close shifts and ensure effective handovers.
• Distribute and collect keys and manage department calls.
• Allocate tasks according to workload and peak periods.
• Conduct quality inspections.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping on guest and hotel requirements.
• Ensure uniforms, hotel linen, and laundry valet are processed and delivered on time.
• Conduct stock-takes and inventories and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Supervise laundry storage areas and outsourced laundry.
• Coordinate equipment servicing, stock inventories, and other special projects.
• Prepare and manage the department budget and monitor financial targets.
• Build positive relationships with guests and internal customers and handle special requests.

• Knowledge of budget and P&L matters.
• At least one year of experience in a similar five-star hotel environment.
