About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Laserfiche Developer to lead the design, development, and ongoing optimization of our enterprise content management (ECM) environment.

This is a technical, hands-on role focused on building automated workflows, custom integrations, and scalable ECM solutions that drive digital transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy automated business processes using Laserfiche Forms, Workflow Designer, and the Business Process module
  • Build and maintain integrations between Laserfiche and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, SharePoint, Microsoft 365) using the Laserfiche REST API and SDK
  • Develop custom utilities, scripts, and applications to extend Laserfiche functionality using C#, VB.NET, or PowerShell
  • Architect and configure repository structures, metadata templates, security policies, and retention schedules aligned with compliance requirements
  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze manual processes and translate requirements into automated workflow solutions
  • Test, document, and validate all development work prior to deployment; maintain thorough technical documentation
  • Perform system performance tuning, troubleshooting, high-availability planning, and platform upgrades
  • Enforce information governance, records retention policies, and access controls in accordance with applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA, NYDFS, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
  • Deliver training and serve as a technical liaison between business users and IT for all ECM-related initiatives
  • Stay current on Laserfiche product releases, modules, and ECM best practices

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Laserfiche development and administration experience
  • Proficiency with Laserfiche Forms, Workflow Designer, Business Process module, and Administration Console
  • Demonstrated experience with the Laserfiche SDK and REST APIs for custom integrations and automation
  • Strong development skills in C#, VB.NET, or PowerShell
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, IIS, and Active Directory
  • Experience integrating Laserfiche with third-party enterprise platforms
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Laserfiche Certified Administrator credential required; Platinum Certification strongly preferred
  • Laserfiche Platinum or SDK/Developer Certification
  • Experience with Kofax or similar capture/scanning technologies
  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation tasks
  • Background in a regulated industry (government, healthcare, financial services, or education)
  • Experience mentoring junior administrators or leading ECM project teams
