Laser Development Engineer
Join our R&D team as a Laser Development Engineer, working on the design, development and optimisation of advanced ultrafast and CW laser systems.
This hands‑on role spans the full product lifecycle—from feasibility and prototyping to detailed design, verification and transfer to manufacturing.
You’ll work closely with optical, mechanical, electronics and control‑systems specialists to turn early concepts into robust, manufacturable products.
Expect a collaborative environment, opportunities to deepen your technical expertise, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to cutting‑edge laser technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies for ultrashort‑pulse laser designs
- Build, test and qualify prototype laser systems
- Troubleshoot and optimise laser performance
- Produce clear technical reports and presentations
- Support manufacturing teams with technical expertise
- Contribute to system‑level laser design within a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with local and global laser specialists
