About the Role
EVOLVEX TECHNOLOGY is seeking a Senior Laravel Backend Engineer to own and design backend features for a high-volume, real-time transactional platform. The role requires 4+ years of PHP/Laravel experience, strong skills in MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, and a mindset of end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities
- Own and design backend features in Laravel from idea to deployment
- Work on transactional & wallet related logic with focus on data consistency
- Design and optimize inter service communication (HTTP + RabbitMQ)
- Improve and maintain caching layers (Redis) and real time flows
- Collaborate on DB modeling and performance, especially MongoDB and ClickHouse
- Help shape infrastructure decisions: queues, workers, scaling patterns
Requirements
- 4+ years of backend experience with PHP & Laravel
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to reason about complex flows
- Solid experience with Laravel (queues, events, jobs, service container)
- Solid experience with MongoDB (indexes, schema design, performance basics)
- Solid experience with Redis (cache, queues, patterns like locks / rate limiting)
- Solid experience with REST APIs (design, versioning, security best practices)
- Good understanding of networking & infrastructure basics: Nginx, reverse proxies, load balancing
- Comfortable working with message brokers (RabbitMQ or similar)
- Mindset of ownership: care about the system end to end

Role Overview
- Senior Backend Developer (Laravel) to join a team building a high volume, real time transactional platform with multi service architecture.
- Working hours: 7:00 PM 3:00 AM. Drop off provided.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of backend experience with PHP & Laravel
- Strong problem solving skills
- Solid experience with Laravel (queues, events, jobs, service container)
- Solid experience with MongoDB (indexes, schema design, performance basics)
- Solid experience with Redis (cache, queues, patterns like locks / rate limiting)
- Solid experience with REST APIs (design, versioning, security best practices)
- Good understanding of networking & infrastructure basics: Nginx, reverse proxies, load balancing
- Comfortable working with message brokers (RabbitMQ or similar)
- Ability to read/understand Go code is a plus
- Mindset of ownership: care about the system end to end
