Job Responsibilities:

Figuring out the technical needs to team members and solving the technical aspects of their work with them

Document/create processes

Communicating any new features or processes with the team

Write clean, test driven, easily maintainable, modular code

Troubleshoot and debug applications

Perform UI/backend tests to optimize performance

Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications

Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic

Gather and address technical and design requirements

Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Liaise with developers, designers and system administrators to identify new features

Follow emerging technologies

Integrate and maintain various API connections

Develop various automation processes on various platforms such as Zapier, IFTTT, or simply design manual processes

Job Skills:

Excellent communication skills geared towards communicating with both technical and non-technical parts of the team, acting as translator where needed

Proven work experience with PHP, JS, CSS, HTML

Work experience with Laravel

Experience with Vue.js a strong plus

Ability to find patterns to automate redundant manual tasks

Linux console skills

Familiarity with AWS server architecture

In-depth understanding of the entire development process (design, development, QA, deployment)
