About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Language Services Manager to lead the organization's language services strategy, translation and localization operations, and multilingual communication initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement language services strategies, policies, workflows, and quality standards aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead translation, localization, interpretation, transcription, multilingual content management, and language quality assurance initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing, customer support, legal, product management, human resources, communications, and other functions to deliver multilingual content
- Manage relationships with translation agencies, freelance linguists, interpreters, localization vendors, and language technology providers
- Monitor KPIs including translation quality, turnaround time, on time delivery, customer satisfaction, localization accuracy, terminology consistency, and budget performance
- Develop and maintain terminology databases, translation memories, style guides, linguistic assets, and localization standards
- Oversee localization of websites, software applications, product documentation, training materials, legal documents, marketing campaigns, multimedia content, and customer communications
- Conduct linguistic reviews, quality audits, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality requirements, data privacy regulations, accessibility standards, intellectual property protections, and organizational communication policies
- Utilize TMS, CAT tools, CMS, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, AI powered translation technologies, and analytics platforms to manage language operations
- Prepare language services reports, localization dashboards, vendor performance reviews, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations
- Lead, mentor, and develop localization specialists, project coordinators, translators, reviewers, and cross functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, Modern Languages, Communications, International Business, Localization, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in language services, translation management, localization, multilingual communications, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing language services teams, localization programs, or multilingual projects preferred
- Strong understanding of translation workflows, localization processes, terminology management, multilingual content strategy, quality assurance, and vendor management
- Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS), CAT tools, CMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, AI assisted translation platforms, terminology management systems, and localization technologies
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, project management, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, cultural awareness, presentation, and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to work independently in remote and hybrid environments

- 5+ years of experience in language services, translation management, localization, multilingual communications, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing language services teams, localization programs, or multilingual projects preferred
- Strong understanding of translation workflows, localization processes, terminology management, multilingual content strategy, quality assurance, and vendor management
- Experience with Translation Management Systems (TMS), CAT tools, CMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, AI assisted translation platforms, terminology management systems, and localization technologies
- Familiarity with software localization, website localization, audiovisual translation, accessibility standards, machine translation, post editing workflows, and internationalization (i18n) practices is advantageous
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, project management, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, cultural awareness, presentation, and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multilingual communication programs while balancing quality, speed, cultural relevance, compliance, and cost efficiency
