Role Overview
WSP is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Landscape Architect for a supervision team on a project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role is site-based and focuses on post-contract supervision, landscape implementation, quality control, and compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise landscape works and monitor the progress and quality of consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Review technical submittals, material inspection requests, shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and design documentation.
- Ensure installations comply with contract specifications, design intent, approved layouts, and quality standards.
- Conduct on-site inspections of landscape materials and completed works and sign off approved items.
- Coordinate approvals and NOCs with consultants, contractors, authorities, and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate landscape elements with civil and infrastructure contractors and resolve drawing discrepancies.
- Manage safety-critical aspects, punch-point closure, handover documentation, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and training plans.
Qualifications and Experience
- Qualified Landscape Architect with strong site-based experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of post-contract supervision.
- Experience with landscape design implementation, quality control, and compliance with project specifications.
- Ability to coordinate across consultants, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, authorities, and design teams.
- Ability to review technical and construction documentation and inspect work against approved requirements.
