Land Transport Coordinator

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily shipment collections and deliveries across the UAE.
• Arrange cargo pickup and delivery from JAFZA, ports, warehouses, and customer locations.
• Liaise with drivers, subcontractors, and third-party trucking companies to support on-time delivery.
• Prepare delivery orders, waybills, customs paperwork, and other transport documentation.
• Coordinate with JAFZA customs, ports, and free zone authorities for clearance and gate passes.
• Track shipments and update clients and internal teams on delivery status.
• Monitor transport costs and optimize routes to reduce fuel and time expenses.
• Maintain proof of delivery, trip sheets, fuel records, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
• Resolve delays, breakdowns, and discrepancies, and coordinate loading and unloading schedules.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Two to three years of land transport or trucking coordination experience is required.
• Experience in a JAFZA or other free zone environment or with a logistics company is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures and free zone regulations is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills are required.
• The candidate must be able to multitask and work under pressure.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is required.
