About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Land Development Manager to lead land development projects from site acquisition through planning, design, permitting, and delivery. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with regulatory authorities, and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement land development strategies, project plans, and execution frameworks aligned with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and business growth initiatives
- Lead land development projects covering site due diligence, feasibility studies, master planning, infrastructure design, permitting, utility coordination, construction support, and project closeout
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, urban planning, construction, legal, finance, procurement, environmental consultants, government agencies, and executive leadership to ensure successful project execution
- Manage land acquisition support activities, zoning reviews, entitlement processes, environmental assessments, surveying, geotechnical investigations, and development approvals
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including project schedule adherence, budget performance, permitting timelines, infrastructure completion, quality standards, stakeholder satisfaction, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee consultants, contractors, surveyors, utility providers, and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones, technical specifications, and contractual obligations are achieved
- Review engineering drawings, site layouts, grading plans, drainage designs, utility networks, transportation plans, and infrastructure documentation for quality and compliance
- Conduct project risk assessments, cost analyses, value engineering reviews, constructability evaluations, and mitigation planning to improve project outcomes and optimize investment returns
- Ensure compliance with land use regulations, zoning ordinances, environmental legislation, health and safety standards, building codes, and organizational governance policies
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Aided Design (CAD), Building Information Modeling (BIM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, project management software, and analytics tools to monitor project performance and support decision making
- Prepare development reports, project dashboards, financial forecasts, executive presentations, permitting documentation, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop development engineers, project coordinators, planners, consultants, and cross functional teams while fostering a culture of safety, sustainability, collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Master's degree or professional certifications such as PMP, PE, RICS, or equivalent are advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in land development, civil engineering, real estate development, project management, infrastructure development, or related roles
- 2+ years of experience managing land development projects, multidisciplinary teams, or large scale development programs preferred
- Strong understanding of land development processes, infrastructure engineering, permitting, zoning, environmental compliance, project planning, budgeting, and stakeholder management
- Experience with GIS platforms, CAD software, BIM technologies, ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, project management tools, and development planning software
- Familiarity with sustainable development practices, smart city initiatives, environmental impact assessments, utility coordination, and digital construction technologies is advantageous
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, financial, negotiation, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, regulatory coordination, and cross functional collaboration abilities
