Land Development Coordinator

· Conduct site visits, attend site meetings, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide direction on deficiency/issues resolutions.

· Support work with financial analyses, owner’s groups, front ending agreements, cost-sharing, development charges and collect back that are relevant to the site’s being managed.

· All other duties as required.

Statement of Qualifications: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Post-secondary education in engineering, urban design/planning or a related field of study; graduate degree would be an asset.

· Proven land development project management expertise with a minimum of five years’ experience.

· In-depth understanding of land development planning, approvals, regulations, and legislation.

· Progressive experience in dealing with municipalities.

· Familiarity with project specific budgeting and cash flow

· Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain relationships.

· Proficient in reading, understanding, and providing feedback on multi disciplinary technical drawings and studies.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Innovative and creative problem solver who has experience challenge the status quo to create a better product.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

· Demonstrates a passion for urban planning and land development.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint).

· Experience with AutoCAD, photoshop and Adobe would be considered an asset.

· Valid drivers license with the ability to travel throughout the city would be considered an asset.

· A combination of education and experience will be considered.
