The Opportunity
Provide strategic counsel, expert advice, and hands-on administration for labour relations matters affecting ECAO members.
Support provincial multi-employer collective bargaining, grievance procedures, and high-trust relationships with union and industry stakeholders.
Manage ECAO’s Labour Relations Analyst and support broader executive association leadership.
Labour Relations and Collective Agreement Administration
- Review OLRB grievances to determine provincial or ETBA impact and coordinate awareness with local ECAs.
- Research case law, gather evidence, and prepare mediation and arbitration materials with legal counsel.
- Advise members and local ECAs on collective agreement interpretation and workplace best practices.
- Support province-wide multi-employer bargaining through resource coordination, language research, and trend analysis.
- Develop and deliver supervisor training, webinars, and other labour relations education for contractors.
Stakeholder and Industry Relations
- Build collaborative relationships with IBEW CCO, Local Business Managers, the IBEW International Office, and other partners.
