Laboratory Technologist I

Brooks laboratory is located within the Brooks Health Care Centre and services this Southern Alberta City as well as its surrounding areas. The location is staffed with a strong team of laboratory professionals that offer strong patient focused service to their community. Brooks is located in the Grassland Natural Region of Alberta, home to a number of enticing attractions including the JBS Leisure Centre which houses a curling rink, aquatic center w/ wave pool, a gymnasium, and fitness center, the Duke of Sutherland Park featuring baseball diamonds, a soccer field, playground and 3200 sq ft waterpark. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.
