Key skills for this role
Collect concrete and aggregate samples from sites across the region
Perform laboratory testing in line with industry standards and approved procedures
Prepare samples and accurately record and report test results
Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
Support quality assurance and compliance testing activities
Maintain laboratory records and documentation in line with NATA accreditation requirements
Champion safe work practices and contribute to a strong safety culture
We're looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. You'll ideally have:
Previous experience as a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory Technician, or experience in a construction, trade, or related industry
A strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
Effective time management and organisational skills
The ability to balance competing priorities and meet deadlines
Knowledge of Australian Standards and industry testing requirements
Experience in aggregate testing (highly regarded but not essential)
A current driver's licence (tool-of-trade vehicle provided)
