Laboratory Operation Assistant (Temp to Perm)

Requirements

• 0-1 years prior laboratory operations experience
• Minimum education level: BS degree in biological sciences
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds and occasionally move heavy equipment
• Should possess strong attention to detail with critical analytical skills
• Should be resourceful and possess good organization skills
• Should possess the ability to independently solve problems and troubleshoot while performing work
• Must be proactive and able to self-initiate
• Should possess effective communication skills
• Should demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other general use software applications
• Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities
• Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, and climb at times
• The hourly rate range for this position is $25 - $31 per hour. These amounts reflect the range that the Institute reasonably would expect to pay a new hire or internal candidate for this position. The actual compensation paid to any individual for this position may vary depending on factors such as experience, market conditions, education/training, skill level, and whether the compensation is internally equitable, and does not include bonuses, commissions, differential pay, other forms of compensation, or benefits.
